⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ He’s done it again! John Marrs is one of my favourite authors and I pre-order his books without needing to know what it’s about. All his books (except one) are 4 or 5 stars.

Short, snappy chapters, twists and turns.

Recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 enjoyable stars. I enjoyed this first person narrator style and how he wrote like he really was talking to the reader. Short chapters, quick paced and a few twists and turns along the way.

⭐️⭐️ 2 slow stars.

I never do this but I’m 60% in and it’s just dragging and I don’t want to read any more so I’m going to stop and may go back to it at some point. The pace is slow, the back and forth with characters and timelines is disjointed and I just can’t get into it.

Ok I'm on Chapter 4. I hope I haven't already worked out the bad guy.....
