So far it’s a story about a girl who is human and a man who is vampire. They’ve interacted at the uni and we’re having a convo before I needed to stop so I can get some sleep.

From what I’ve gathered so far, this is what’s happened (to my understanding lmao)
- Assyria is in an abusive marriage where her husband expects her to just bear his offspring.
- She kills her husband on accident.
- Now she’s pretending to be him on her way to the capital for war.
- She has burgundy eyes
- Her power is some form of shapeshifting.

I’ve watched the series so I wanted to see the differences. So far Justing is football player, Hannah has exes and the beginning is much different but so far so good!

So far it’s pretty interesting and it’s got my curiosity up especially when it comes to Ally’s job and also Josh and his weird ways haha. The banter is pretty good too, makes me feel giddy but I need something to happen cause I’m slowly losing interest.

The storyline is pretty good but I’ve noticed the writing is a bit chaotic and rushed. Everything’s happening so quickly, like only taking a couple days to fall in love? Interesting.

It’s 5.22am and I’m almost done! I need sleep so I can keep reading this after my sleep.

So far this book has been hard to read. It’s not boring but it’s not exciting and I’m finding it hard to finish! BUT, the plot of it so far is okay. Wish me luck…

The prologue is making me not want to carry on 😂 but I’ll do it lol I never watched Brave so interested to see this through.

OKAY WHAT!? I saw the reviews say that this book was predictable, but all my predictions were wrong! WHAT DO YOU MEAN? SHES WHO? I’m hooked now 😂 even tho I still barely understand most of the words and what’s being written, but I’m still following on with the story!

Also, side note, the bits where they’re speaking a different language - PMO 😂 that annoyed me. Other than that, so good so far!

Wow! The heartbreak 💔 it’s getting good tho. I read somewhere that the book starts to get predictable but I’m still tryna figure out if my predictions are right cause so far it hasn’t 😂 but if she ends up with the one that killed her friend - that’s it. I’ll be so mad!

The detail and everything, chefs kisses! I didn’t expect it to be the gory but at least it’s not real bad. So far so good tho, I’m enjoying this book ✨
