Trying to figure out how to get over the slump the last book put me in. It was such a bad book I’ve been hesitant to read something for almost 3 weeks 😞🤦🏽‍♀️

Well the upside of being in a reading slump is that I’ve been writing a chapter a day for my book 📖

I’m having a reading slump, I have sooo many books I want to read but every book I’ve started has not caught my attention and the last book I just read was a huge miss for me

Why is this written so weirdly? In comparison to the Nothing Special series this is written soo much more matter of factly like in reading a list of what is happening. Also the chapters are super short ?

🫩 so this is fantasy lol because I’ll never believe illegal college underground fight clubs and professors running it who sell drugs. Bffr . Got it, I just have to know that it’s fantasy like legacy of gods series. 👌🏾

I shall review five more books this weekend, I shall. The people must know my thoughts. But also I must finish chapter 30-32 of my friends to lover book Im writing

Doing a slow re-read ; this is the book that got me back into mm. When I was young I read a lot of mm in like 2007 which was hard to find. Then I read this a few years ago and got back on the train and never looked back. I’m going slow like it’ll take a week or so to re-read this just to see if I feel the same way about it.

I got the special edition Caraval set from fairyloot even though I’ve only read the first book and that shot is gorgeous wtf bro they just came in and I’m like enchanted and it makes me wanna read the series hahaha 😂

The last like 4 chapters of this book had me sobbing wtf

I’m good on this book for now. The characters narration isn’t for me at the moment. I’m being pretty picky I think and I only got 9 pages in so yeah. DNFing Jace for now.

7 pages in and I’m already bored and I don’t know if I like the writing. It’s a me problem for sure but I’ll give it another chapter before setting it aside
