In my book the main character is in a new environment where many people are having active discussions with each other and she thinks "Garpov never let us share our opinions, he didn't think us intellectual equals." This shows how she is unfamiliar in where she is and is a stark contrast to where she was before

The stories that are told about not only how the poisons that are discussed are made but the criminal cases in which they have been used throughout the ages is fascinating to me I also enjoy how it tells you a timeline of when the poison was mainly used to when it stopped.

one of the quotes shows the surreality when the main character enters the louvers biggest most famous halls when no one is indie and after-hours starting "The unnerving feel of everything combined the red lights, the errie silence and the dark room" all in all this shows how different an atmosphere can be with a few different changes to it

In the reading of my novel today I noticed that many of the short stories that comprise this book were becoming darker and darker and almost nefarious whereas earlier in the book it may have been about a sad ship captain and his memories I now have stories of a secret race of architects that build cities on fault lines to destroy them and start wars as well a hotel that murders its customers.
