I love that I know what some of these Australian sayings are, because I’ve watched bluey.

I love learning more about how they got their start. It's interesting to see the struggle along with the success. A lot of us forget about that when we see successful people.

How could I have ever been excited for this book!! Idk if I can read anymore I'm crying so much! Why didn't someone warn me!?!?

Not entirely sure how I feel about this book yet. Makes me uncomfortable how women have just accepted what's happened to them. And they've all but forgotten how they used to live. Plus everyone knows that, that specific passage in the Bible does not say that. Only if you've rewritten it to fit your ideals would it say that.

I just finished reading Hell Is the Absence of God. The premise of this short story would make an awesome fiction novel. I'm sad that there isn't more to read. Definitely my favorite story in this collection so far.

I just finished the first short story Babylon and I loved it. A rare look at what a worker of the Tower of Babylon might have been like (I know it's fiction, it's just something I've never thought about before).

I'm almost done with this book and it's giving me so much anxiety! In a good way though lol

This book is really slow for me for some reason. It's not hard to read and it's interesting. I just can't get over how slow it is. I feel like I'm waiting for something that'll make it take off.
