best thriller I’ve read in so long wowwwww. I have my predictions

I am understanding why my English professor said it is rarely every necessary to use italics, bold, or brackets. (Seriously, it’s really annoying when it’s every other sentence).

Loved her other book, so I’m super excited for this. Really craving the feeling of being utterly absorbed in a book!

Someone said we’ve fast fashion-ified books and I have to agree. I can tell this book didn’t have the same timeline as some of her earlier work - it feels rushed and underdeveloped. I also have complicated feelings about this kind of narrator that tells you all of their inner thoughts - I prefer to come to conclusions myself & learn through their speech / actions etc… as opposed to just telling me… idk!!!

This is one of the many reads in my bookshelf that’s “finished a book on my kindle and saw my mum had downloaded a book that looks mildly interesting on our shared account so i may as well read it”

Okay now I’ve finished my book club book this is back on my priority list!

I finally understand what people mean when they say fantasy is a form of escapism because every time I want to dive into a new world I read this book and I will genuinely be sad when it’s over 🥲 I get it now !!!!!!!!

Very interesting choice to open a love story (I assume that’s what this is) on the backdrop of 9/11. Like literally their first kiss is with 9/11 in the background. HELLO

only this series could have me on book 7, 43% of the way through and only be on page 422

I don’t want this book to end…. And this is coming from someone who usually hates books about war
