Louise’s life seems really sad. She’s never been truly loved and for the first time in forever she finally finds someone, Morgan, who seems to truly care about her and how she feels. Unbeknownst to both of them though, Pauline isn’t really Louises real mother. And considering Paulines past, Louise starts to feel bad for her and even as a reader I’m starting to sympathize with her.

The book is starting to make me sad. Noting sad has necessarily happened but it just all seems so unfortunate. Knowing your tragic destiny and not being able to do anything about it. But also trying to make sure it doesn’t hurt anyone else.

August and Hazel are becoming really good friends and they seem like the perfect set of best friends. They have that “two peas in a pod” type of friend ship that i really admire. They give really good advice to each other and it seems like they both think about each other all the time.

Louise and i have similar struggles. Just like her, i often find my self having more moral beliefs than my own parents. Or feeling like i have to parent my own parents. Only she handles it better than me(haha). I can start to see how her mom Pauline slowly starts to change the way she thinks after realizing that Morgan was a jew. But she sees how kind he is to her and Louise.

I feel like Hazel and i have similar internal personalities. Like the way she talks to herself is similar to the way i talk to myself. I think her relationship to August is cute and I can’t wait to see how their relationship grows.

I feel like the books “interesting level” has stayed constant. It’s stayed interesting the whole time through so far. Louise confronts Morgan about being jewish and he talks about his experiences as a jewish man living in the south to her.

The african american maid, Charolette, who helps Louise’s mom tells Louise about her life as an african american woman. Louise sees a new perspective of the whole integration thing and is ashamed of her mother who said very wrong things about schools integrating.

The book has gotten more interesting. A jewish man has come into Louise’s life and becomes friends with her and her mom. Finding out that he was jewish was a big thing because jews faced a lot of hate and discrimination at the time. Louises mom continues to take abuse from her boyfriend and Louise continues to figure things out about the new jewish man in her life.

This book seems kind of sad. The main character Louise seems like she’s never been loved as a child and she’s living in a community full of hate. This book takes place during school integration and Ruby Bridges. Her mother was one of the “cheerleaders” who protested against integration.

It started getting interesting again. This is because Alex and harry’s relationship went public and all their private emails went public as well-all which had some pretty intimate stuff. They have a suspect who they think leaked all the information but to Alex’s relief that person was innocent all along. They continue to handle to situation responsibly while dealing with tough people like the queen and the press.

A lot has happened within the last few chapters. Lots of people have found out about Alex and Henry. It first started with Alex’s moms assistant and then his family and then... the whole press. This takes a toll on Alex and Henry’s relationship so they have to find solutions to their struggles and find a way to make their relationship last forever even with the trolls and stress.

I feel like i’m taking a long time to read it because i never have time to read. I feel like it’s moving really slowly in the book as well because nothing interesting is happening. There is no real problem or plot twist or anything to keep the read entertained as of right now. But maybe that will change in the rest of the book!

verrry steamy. the conversations can sometimes be corny tho. but i like it this far!

So far so good. It’s interesting. The humor and emotions are very relevant to this generation.

So far this book is good. The main characters are enemies right now and this book reminds me of a teen netflix drama.
