I meant chapter 2 of A Study in Scarlet in the last update.

Finished all the short stories under 'Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.' Only the second last story left no impression. I'm rereading A Study in Scarlett and the third chapter is a favourite.

Irene Adler has been introduced. Can't help but imagine her as Adjani in Nosferatu the Vampyre. If she left such an impression on Holmes then it's only fair I think of someone who left a deep impression on me.

Finished The Sign of the Four, that's two novels done. It was very good, I liked it much better than A Study in Scarlet. There are hundreds of pages of short stories now. Everything reads like a perfect play, surprisingly. It's very vivid and I love making a voice for each character.

Such a frustrating, well done story filled with mystique due to tragedy.

Reading The Sign of Four now. I'm already enjoying it more than A Study in Scarlet. I've begun to tab wherever any lit is mentioned, that would be nice to look back on.

Finished A Study in Scarlet. Piim very kindly recommended a method to efficiently review novels and so many short stories together, but I wasn't aware the novels were short so I'm unsure how I'll be going about this.

This felt sinister and I rooted for their escape even though I didn't connect with the romance between the couple. I don't think so I've ever really read a tale of revenge before. This reminds me to start The Count of Monte Cristo soon.

There must've been some fascination with Mormons in the late 19th century in the West, I've now read two consecutive accounts.

Finished my O levels this morning.
