Today I learned that Rowan does not like being a Scythe. He called himself a monster. Is it because he doesn't like gleaning people? I agree with Rowan because I would not like to glean others.

Today I learned that Rowan will practice gleaning on real people now. Rowan is scarred. I wonder how he will do because he has never done it on a person before. I think he will be fine because he has had lots of practice.

Today I learned that Scythe Faraday killed himself to save Rowan and Citra. Why would he do that to save them two? That means he probably sees a lot of potential in them.

What is a conclave? Is it where the Scythes ask people questions? Will Citra ad Rowan become Scythes? Will they answer the questions honestly?

Today I think they will both become Scythes. Including Citra and Rowan. They both seem interested in becoming Scythes. I think they will both become Scythes and they will love it.

I learned that scythes' only time to eat good food is at the conclave. Why do they only get to eat good food at the conclave? Also, Citra asked Curie when the apprentices will be tested and she ignored her. Why would she ignore her question?

If I was a scythe I could never kill someone. I feel like that would be so hard decision to do. Is it because of overpopulation? I wonder why they have to glean people.

I learned what Rowan and Citra´s character traits are. Also got to learn more about what they look like. The book so far is really good. Itś now to know their character traits.

What does glean mean? Does it mean to kill? I think it means to kill but why? Why would they kill people? I wonder what it means. And why they would do it.

For the first few pages, I have gotten to learn the characters in the book. I wonder how they are going to be a big part of this story. I'm excited to see what happens. Why is it called Point Guard?

Danny's best move on the court is his passing ability. When I play basketball my best is shooting. A person who can pass is really good in a basketball game like for example when you get a good pass and you score.

Today I learned that it is very difficult for Danny because he was short. Danny is short for his age but that doesn´t stop Danny from giving up his favorite thing. I wonder what he is going to do.

He made a basketball team and he is one of the best on the team. I wonder how he will do on this new team. Will he get better? I think he will do really good and his team is going to do great.

He knows that he is the shortest in his grade and he knows that he shortest on the team. But that doesn´t stop him from playing his best and favorite sport. Height does not matter.

Today I learned something very big about the main character. How will that affect the story? Will he still be able to see his friends even though he left for college? I wonder how it will affect the whole story.

Is he dating his best friend's girl? How will this affect their friendship? Is he actually dating his girl? I predict he is telling the truth and he is not dating his girl. Because why would he do that to his best friend?

Justice just got into Yale College. I wonder if he is still going to be a part of the story still. I wonder how it will affect the story. I wonder if Justyce will like college.

Today I learn nothing much. This book is kind of slow. I can wait to see what happens. But for now, nothing much has happened. I wonder why itś so slow.

Today I learned that a cop was being mean towards Justice. Was it because he was colored? Why was the cop being so mean to Justyce? If I was him I would go off on the cop.

Today I learned the main characters. What role will they play in the story? How will they affect the story? I can wait to find out what they will do in the story.

Today I learned that Justyce was thrown to the ground and handcuffed by police. What did he do? Did he deserve to be treated like that? Did he get treated like that because he is colored?

Today I learned that Iwo Jima is officially won. I wonder how Ned feels about winning. I can't imagine fighting in a war like that. I would be traumatized for life. I predict Ned is going to be very proud of himself. I thin the code talkers are a big reason why they won.

Today I learned that Ned got shot in the shoulder by a Japanese sniper. Is Ned going to be okay? Is he going to die? I think Ned will be ok and hope he will be ok. I predict he is going to come back and continue the war.

Today I learned what kind of food the Navajo men get to eat. What it sounds like is they don't get to eat good food. I think they deserve better if they are fighting and risking their lives in war.

Today I learned that Navajo men get action. They get to fight in the war. That must be a proud moment for them. To protect their country. I wonder if the code talking will work against the Japanese.

Today I learned what some of the code names are. That must be so hard to remember a hundred codes. I wonder if someone will get captured and they snitch and tell the Japanese. I predict it will get out to the Japanese.

Today I learned that the Navajos are stronger than the whites. Does that men will have a huge part in the war. How well will they do in combat? How will Ned do?

Today I read that 29 Navajos have signed up and said that they created the secret code. What does that mean? What is the secret code? Will they have their won language to defeat the japenease? I wonder what's going to happen next?
