Jake does not know how to read so now he has to go asking a bunch of people to help him read but no one wants to besides a mean old man or a guy who is about to leave prison and a chinese man who only knows a little english those are some pretty bad options.

Mr.Criswell is treating Jake like his own son and the bond between them to is crazy but Mr.Criswell's grandson came back to the farm and now he feels left out almost like he is getting replaced by Jake so he gets jealous.

I met a new character his name is mr. Criswell he helps Jake with his prison job. Jake can do anything a grown adult can do in prison or even more and he can get away with anything to because he is younger than anyone in there. that's why he only gets little punishments.

Jake needs to stop getting his self in trouble or else prison is going to be so bad for him he might end up in the pit, the pit is a box with white walls and they make you go crazy which that was one of their punishments but he still hasn't got it.

Jake is acting real tough although there's people in there 2x the size of him he gets stomped on everytime he gets approached by one of them and then he loses his privileges to eat good food.

This kid is so weird he says that prison is his heaven and he feels happy. I guess in the time period he lives in it does seem like he has a lot to do and sense he is just living with his uncle its pretty hard for him. He loves the food to which is weird because i'm used to fast food and homemade food.

Its surprising how this kid named Jake is looking on the bright side in jail if I went to jail I would of probably want to die I would not look on the bright side I would definitely look on the dark side of things. He is the youngest person in there with all those old guys that could beat me up anytime and not to mention some of them are murders.

Have you ever had a friend that you had to let go maybe they moved away or you guys just didn't want to be friends well if so Eric had some friends but one of his friends turned into a bully and now he is stuck with his only friend Melody who is more like a mom not a friend. If my friend was more like a parent and bssed me around I would simple just not be friends with them but I have other friends but Eric has 1

There can be some pretty cruel people in this world such as bullies well I cant really be talking because I'm reading a book called the bully book but this book so far has had no bad pages and I like how it goes from his future self to his past self through his journal. This book is so relatable to middle schoolers or even 5th graders about to be 6th graders it tells you the actually reality you'll face in school

Have you ever felt like you've made a chart in your head of who the coolest kid and who is the not so coolest kid at school well this book is great for you because this book talks about how you can make it through middle school and if you are at the top tear then don't even bother to pick this book up.

Jem is usually chill but there is one thing that he gets so ticked off by, its when people say something bad about his dads job. Jems dads name is Atticus I mentioned him before in my last post but I don't think I mentioned what he does. Atticus supports african-americans in court and in that time white people did not support black people. Everyone doesn't like what Atticus does so thats what make Jem mad.

You better give Jean Louise her way every time or else you will get busted or injured she don't care if you are big or small. I like this quote that uncle Atticus mentions ¨you can shoot as many blue jays as you want just don't kill a mocking bird¨, the reason why I mention this is because it must be important if its the title of the book.

Scout has more free will than her brother by far. Scout is allowed to cuss in front of her guardian and she is allowed to beat up any boy she wants to but for Scouts brother Jem if he did that he would most definitely get in trouble. If I ever do that my parents would probably kick me out.

When it comes to an adventure this is the book. I swear everytime I turn the page I get chills because I don't know what to expect on the next page its like a guessing game in your head. I feel like after every page there is a new character getting introduced or a new emotional feeling or a connection between some of the characters.

Scout has a pretty good name because she is a pretty awesome scout she found someones old stash in a tree by accident how can someone even do that. I can relate do this just a little bit because one time I moved my couch and I found a 5 dollar bill under the couch. Dill is the best friend anyone can ask for but to bad he is only there for the summer. I think of my friends like Dill there all super out going.

Scout is not taking a liking to this school stuff she is way to advanced to be in the 1st grade. I think some people in Scouts class take school for granted because one kid doesn't even want to be there he only goes for one day out of the whole year 365 days. A common theme is you learn something to everyday I think this is a theme because although she thinks she knows a lot she doesn't know everything.

How could a teacher be so mean to a girl who is so smart. Scout knows a lot already like how to read and write, but according to the teacher she is being to smart so she gets punished. Could you imagine being in her shoes you are smarter that the whole class but yet the teacher still punishes you, now that's not right.

Scout Yonder's and her brother Jem meet a new boy and his name is Charles Baker Harris. Charles seems like a smart kid but he is the type who doesn't like to express it to much but this quote that Charles says blows me away. " Im little but I'm old ", he is really young but at the same time he knows a lot.

I had to reread this sentence that Isabel said its something that not so many people say today "you don't have to be a snot rag about it". Ted was confused as much as I was I think that Isabel has a wide vocabulary of words. When I heard Isabel say this fraise I thought of my grandma.

Ted has some slick tricks to use on Isabel I want to just tell her that Ted is messing with her so bad. Have you ever been lied to or played by someone to the point where you fully believe what ever they say? I hope Isabel the more I read the more smarter she gets so she can figure out why Ted is messing with her.

Ted thinks about his uncles apartment like a big chore that he has to complete so gets pretty bored which I can relate to ted because when ever I enter my room it is a complete mess so I think its a big chore but there's a difference Ted has his friends to help him I don't anyone to help me. but none the less they keep cleaning. Would you clean Teds great uncles apartment?

Isabel seems to really love books, I think that everyone in this book have something different that they love to do and I love how the author really exprecise it through out the book so far they all have a different liking. Its almost like the author also wants us to know that Ted is not the only main character also Isabel and Caleb contribute to the book as much as Ted.

I was introduced to a new character in my book named Isabel and she seems like the type of girl that doesn't know that she is a know it all but she is a know it all. I don't know much about Isabel yet but I think she will be a good asset to the team. Have you ever just want to slap someone because they are making you so mad that's what I kinda want to do ro Isabel.

Ted has no clue what his great uncle has for him in the future but for right he is focusing on the present so he focuses on his video games. I think I do that sometimes I just play video games to let go of my stress and my struggles through life, I mean who doesn't like playing video games.

Ted is tired of hearing his departed or his pasted almost everyday in his house which I can relate to Ted because it leaves a big scar on you when someone that you love has pasted but since Ted has never met his great uncle he doesn't feel sad he feels bad like I did when my moms brother pasted it left a scar on my mom but I didn't know him to much so I just feel bad.

Ted has a strong connection to his Japans ancestry and he likes knowing the fact that he is Japanese because one of his favorite games is made by a japanese creator. I can relate to Ted because some times I can relate to video games myself. Ted knows a lot about escape room almost like its on the back of his hand.

I have been introduced to a new character in my book his name is Caleb also my main character's best friend ted says he knows all about him which I can relate to that my friend anthony I feel like he only talks about one subject and one subject only superheros. It seems like Ted has a deep friendship with Caleb to the point where he knows what he is doing every single day.

Ted is the main character of this book, Teds normal video game loving life changes when he meets his dying uncle on his death bed finds out something peculiar that changes his life for the better.

I don't understand how colored people do it so many people against them and so many problems are occurring through this whole book always someone is complaining about there race it just makes you want to scream!!!

Lewis's dad had to mark down stopping stations on his map but why the reason is their skin color is different and that's why they have to avoid some of the stopping stations a central idea that keeps occuring is racism almost like they are monsters.
