I've been colonized (by Walton Goggins) and can now only imagine Lowry as Uncle Baby Billy

It turns out that my preferred way to read poetry is to read one poem for two to three weeks at a time and I felt bad holding up a library copy for so long. But the poems I read were phenomenal and I plan on picking up a copy whenever I buy books next.

I've been dubious since I found out about a fourth area x book but I'm enjoying this so far.

on the one hand these 21 yr old Olympians seem really mature and coherent and self assured about their sexual preferences and on the other hand, does tying someone up really even count as deviancy in the year of our lord 2025?

third person omni does a lot for a book like this imo. and I'm really appreciating that time passes in this book, feel like the current trend in trashy fantasy is to share each excruciating day with one main character. kind of claustrophobic imo.

it feels really cheap to have Feyre share every stupid thought she has for 600 pages and then keep a huge secret to create suspense at the end.

this one's got my brain barking. i can only hope the male I live with doesn't notice...

I'm really struggling with the idea that a faculty member thinks fake dating a graduate student is a good thing to do.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I love the curiosity she has about the ways we interact with chickens and also about the inner experience of the birds. In an early chapter she thinks her birds are probably happy and then wonders what actually constitutes happiness for a chicken and I keep thinking about that. I assume they are happy taking their dust baths and eating snacks too, but what do I know?

got to chapter one of the Faunfic, said "Jesus Christ" out loud and shut the book.
