I love, love, love this soooo much.

I love this. Wish I didn’t have to go to work so I could read it all in one sitting. Ahh they’ve just arrived at Manderley.

So I lied. It’s now 4AM and I have 10 pages left. I’m sleeping though ‘cause it was dumb to stay up late reading this in the first place. Not worth it.

It’s almost 2AM and I would finish this but it’ll be my first day on a new job tomorrow and I don’t want to show up completely brain-dead and sleep deprived. So I’m gonna sleep but know that I was here.

I like it!

Ummm. This has been anything but scary. I’m a bit disappointed.

How are there so many plot holes?

من این مدل روایت رو از سیزده، چهارده سالگی به بعد که نود و هشتیا رو outgrow کردم ندیدم. یکم نوستالژیک و یه عالمه رو اعصابمه. احتمالا دراپش کنم ولی خب. جالب.

Um… not enjoying it so far. It has its moments but so far it’s a very confusing jumble of attempts at empowering women and stuff like: “I watched the way his eyes fixed on her, the way she bent forward slightly with her arms together, emphasizing her chest. She seemed unaware of what she was doing, and that mesmerized him even more.”
Like what was the purpose of that passage?

This book is shattering my heart. I don’t rlly want to put anyone else through this pain but i also think it’s necessary for everyone to read it. I like to think that ppl wouldn’t be so mean to Afghan immigrants/refugees if they could connect to them. This book will make sure you connect to them. The similarities between our countries are insane. All these parallels. The language and culture. The pain.

Between finishing this and reading A Thousand Splendid Suns, I think I just might lose my mind.
