Cried so many times at this section. So sad but such a good story

Even the POETS tale is good

Starting wonder if I even actually read this book because so much of this feels new to me. Crazy how much I’ve forgotten

Just finished the first short story. So fucking amazing. I must’ve skipped part of it last time because I do NOT remember that ending.

Lots of cruciform talk and stairs in today’s reading

The short story format of this book is just so heat. Absorbing every word of the priests tale I stg if I had the time I could read it in one sitting. I loved it the first time through and it’s even better now

Love me some science fiction man. Dan Simmons has such good prose, already way more into this compared to last time I read it

REREAD but for real this time. I’ve started a failed reread of this one so many times but I’m committed now

On a dissapointing string of books this last few months bc I’m not loving this one either

On to something much more light and fun
