Wow. I can see what all the fuss was about. Great book. I'm having a reaction to it that is annoying. LOL. I was really uncomfortable with all the 'bathroom related' stuff....but in that morbidly fascinated way that I can't stop thinking about. I'm happy that so much has happened in the first half and I still have a ton left to read. Yay for long books!

started a little slow. Just the first few pages of this guys self-pity. But, it soon took an interesting (sad) turn and now i'm excited. ;-)

wow. Okay, very dark and very sad. But, since I haven't personally felt those emotions, it wasn't as painful to read as I expected. I might have shed a tear or two...but I wasn't in knots like some people might be. I could have also done with a little more sex. ;-) but, definitely recommend!!!

Honestly, I'm not sure how far I am but I read for at least 4 hours last night before finally giving into sleep. I agree with other reviewers that it is powerful. I'm eager to see how it works out. Loving it so far!
