Read 84 pages yesterday, Enticing so far but a bit irked by Xavier’s almost lazy and ignorant attitude so far as he’s supposed to be 29 years old?

I started this book ages ago before my exams and forgot to enter it in goodreads hahahaha

I started speedrunning through the book today and a little bit yesterday. The book is good but to be 180 pages in out of like 320 and they’re both still barely coming to terms with the possibility of having feelings of each other. I’d be okay with a slowburn if it was upheld by good tension but
I just wasn’t feeling that here. Maybe it was just me and my expectations!

Ok but hard to get through because the MMC really isn’t my kind of man visually

Love it but deffo gave me whiplash

Started this book at like one because I was craving romance and forced myself to go to sleep after 7 chapters aka 56 pages because it’s 2 and I’ve been yawning through some pages 😅 BUT I LOVE IT SO FARRRRRRR

Think it’s going on hold and I’ll be doing a romance again, just my vibe rn

It was too hot to read outside had to take a cool down break 😭
