I have struggled to get through this book, it’s been more than 6 months of not letting myself read anything else until I finish this. So I haven’t read anything. This book isn’t BAD per-say it’s just not attention-grasping. I’m almost finished and I’m very ready for it to be over.

I keep finding literally anything to do other than read this book, I’m halfway and it’s gotten a bit better, but it’s not hard to raise that bar.

So far many of the things that drive the story forward can only be explained due to ‘plot reasons’ because it often doesn’t make sense. 😓
It’s still enjoyable, but the author knows what she wants to happen without the plot itself knowing WHY it’s happens.

If I got distracted and planned on picking this book back up after a week or so, I probably wouldn’t. Not that it’s bad or anything, it’s just…boring. The characters are lacking, like I want to like them, there are a few I kinda like but I just don’t feel anything for. The story is slow, events happen and I couldn’t care less. If it stays the same it will only be a 2 star from me. Really boring.
