I love her writing. This prequel is better than the main course!

This is every bit as good as HP, IMO. Well-written and I just love this ‘world’. I’d almost call this magical realism. It feels very true to life. Her characterization is brilliant also.

For my female friends who are angry, and have been for awhile….and those who love them…what a book. Exactly what I was in the mood for since the end of last year.

Books like this are food for my soul right at this point …

Michael Connelly is the best.

This book is so good. It demystifies the odd things excel can sometimes do when you’re new at it but think you know more than you do. He is very detail-oriented and you can download all of his example files and learn by doing.

Really enjoying this one.

So far, a light, funny, magical read.

It’s hard for me to explain how much I love this series…if you have ever wanted to run a bookshop and kinda like curmudgeonly ppl then it’s a must read. And the audio version is possibly even better than print. Well narrated by the same person for all three books (I think).

This is an engrossing read and has a lot of flavor for the Victorian period too. Very sad, the conditions of the poor and working poor, and all of the circumstances leading to these women being victims of a madman who was never punished or apprehended for his crimes.

This is somewhat surprisingly turning into quite the page-turner…

A book to get lost in!

Fantastic read.

Not loving as well as Nettle and Bone but still enjoying. I could lose the romance angle totally and be really ok with it.

If the romance in this was more like Laurie Lico Albanese wrote it in Hester, it would be perfect. I’m seeing devastation in the tea leaves for our MC, and I’m loving all the characters in her family.
