DNF, probably for fans of The Lost Apothecary. The characters are bland and the language is unnecessarily flowery -and the flowery language doesn’t always fit what’s being described. It has the feel of a thesaurus hack job.

The more interested I get in publishing, the less patience I have for mid celeb memoirs and all the space they take up on bookstore shelves & in publishers’ marketing budgets.
