is a second chance too but the spicy scene kinda felt out of nowhere too in this one. Even though it took them a year I’m glad they talked it out in the end, but still wasn’t a fan of this one either.

This one seemed shorter than the others and like with some other stories there wasn’t much chemistry between the two characters.

Skipping Christmas by Rebekah Weatherspoon
Almost dnf this one ngl, I didn’t like the MCs much but the FMC was too much with her sexual thoughts about him…

I really loved it when they talked about their shared memories. You could immediately sense how familiar they were with each other, as if no time had passed.

All Roads Lead Home by Joss Richard
Was such a good read! Another second chance romance but this time with two former best friends who see each other after a decade and it feels as if no time has passed and like coming home. The right novella for a cosy winter day under a warm blanket with some tea!

I really liked that the MCs had things in common and could relate to one another! This was my first story by Olivia Dade so I‘ll have to check out more of her books!

A Solstice Kiss by Olivia Dade - As someone who loves art and going to museums, I really liked the setting of this story! Another thing that played into it was the Swedish Christmas market that gave cozy vibes!!

Twelve Seconds to Forever Rebecca Jenshak is another second chance novella and has the best friend’s brother trope! This one was fun but I wasn’t a huge fan of how the FMC didn’t get that the MMC wants to be with her even though he legit said it the day before..

Ho Ho Oh No M.A. Wardell was okayish and like with the novella before I didn’t see much chemistry between this two characters. Also it felt like the spicy scene came out of nowhere same as with novella number 2, maybe it’s because it was pretty short.

Also adding to this one, the characters felt a little childish.

Someone to Hold On To by Elise Bryant didn’t feel much like a romance or at least I didn’t feel any chemistry between the characters, it seemed more like a foundation for a friendship, what I liked though was the feeling of community at the end of the story!

I‘ll Be Home for Ex-Mas by Alexandria Bellefleur is also a second chance novella. It was an easy fast read.

Decking His Halls by Alexis Daria followed Noelia who ended up living with her brothers best friend David! The brothers reaction was refreshing. All in all an easy, festive and spicy read.
