I hate Chaol with every fiber of my heart— the audacity???? The arrogance???? The attitude???? Someone put him DOWN for hating Aelin just because he made some little dream version of her in his mind (someone who she never was) and never saw her for truly who she was!!!

Chaol can go eat rocks for all I care. It should’ve been Dorian, especially after what he just spat out at Chaol on this page.

These last like 150 pages have been great compared to the beginning

compared to some reviews I've seen, it's not a slow beginning--then again I am only at 5%. I think I'm going to love this book
