Haven’t read properly in a bit but here’s the 4th chapter summary: Society has no place over the actions of an individual concerning themselves; only if these actions directly or indirectly affect others can repercussions be inflicted. The only influence society can have is the guidance of education.
My first major grievance in this chapter, harm principle used to argue against major wealth redistribution.

I have actually been reading this book for two weeks. It weighs like 4 kilos and is about a foot long. That being said it reads beautifully, and brings a new dimension to looking at history. It’s supremely easy to become lost in this book, hate these figureheads of evil more deeply than on a factual basis, yet feel why the German people became so truly lost in a facade. Beautiful so far.

This gets more beautiful by the page. Supremely evocative. There’s no real centralised point within the book that is returned to, but it works in such an amazing way to convey like an emotional intention or idea. Idk. Goes HARD.

This book is so so so fascinating, yet my head feels under great pressure from the amount of concentration i’ve exerted in the last hour. Thanks saul xoxo
