book slump is so bad im returning to the ancient texts (whodunits)

oof… okay…

starting to veer into soap opera territory

lotta Dune parallels

inject this in my veins

feels like the good ole days

so much doom & despair
not enough kissing

just saw a review that Dark Age is “emotionally taxing and dark” so let’s buckle up ig

I’m tireddddd of this book

literally the likes of a soap opera

it is my belief that my ranking of favorites may be unpopular

everyone is steady schemin

🆗

I think they have a crush on each other

I’m overstimulated

I’ve made no progress on this book bc I get anxiety every time i think about reading it

Annie is reading iron gold so I’m reading iron gold

don’t really love when a book drags on about the same plot event

the writing is kinda ehhhh but still loving it

unfortunately very invested in these little freaks

I have a tenuous relationship with this series, much like Nona does with religion

feels like I’ve read two books in one

astronomical levels of pettiness

I just can’t tell if I like it

starting this back up but I fear I’m even less motivated and more impatient to be done w it

*cue the Charlie Day conspiracy board meme*
