I'm loving this book. My own Art Journal is getting better; and I'm becoming more creative as I try out the techniques in this book!!

This book is adorable. I had some 'Uncle Wiggily' books as a child. I just stumbled upon this accidentally; naturally I had to get it. Even as an adult, it does not disappoint.

Most of you will probably hate me for this, but I have a hard time feeling empathy for Annie Le. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she deserved to be murdered. My reason is that ever since high school, she was dissecting and experimenting on poor innocent animals. Karma, anyone? Especially because the murder took place in the same building that the labs were in?

I loved this book!! Everything that the "Easter Bunny" and his minions did is exactly what us humans do. As an animal activist I HATE this. Little Emo didn't know he had the power to be a hero, until he really needed to be one. Which is a great message, because, we as humans don't know what kind of strength we have inside until we need to use that strength.

I can't put this book down. I've learned to love how. Jodi Picoult narrates from each character. I especially relate with Anna, and Julia. I wasn't "made" to save my sister; but was made to be her "plaything", which was made quite clear to me throughout my childhood. Julia is also quite like me. This isn't the type of book I usually read, but I'm loving it!

It took me a bit to get into the style of writing(with each chapter being narrated by a different character). Now I'm enjoying it though. It keeps me on my toes; and I feel like I'm learning about each character more in depth than if there was just a single narrator.

247 of 1117(e book) CRUEL, CRUEL, CRUEL!!! This doesn't shock me; because of my childhood, and the way man treats animals nowadays, but it still pains me to read it.

For the record I would Love to live in a secluded cabin like Jonathan has.

I read the first half of this book about 5-6 yrs. ago. Then we moved; and during the move it was misplaced. My partner just found it for me, and I am starting fresh; as it has been so long.
Anne Rice is amazing!!
I have always been fascinated by ghosts, as I can sense, and sometimes see them. I've been told this book delves into their realm, so I'm so very excited!!

113 of 1117 e-book What a heart-breaking yet inspiring story. I'm not very far in, yet Linda who's but 14; has been through so much already, yet she isn't breaking. Poor child. The indignities of slavery!

54 of 1511 "The Bronze Ring" This story was EXTREMELY violent for children(especially the end). Plus I think the antagonist was a bad man. After all the cruel, vile things he did (especially to innocent animals), he should not have won the princess. All in all, a good read still.

I haven't yet started. I always like to have a lighter book going, for after the nightmares.

219 of 684 e-book. Interesting so far. As with all of King's books, there's some unnecessary rambling. So far I like it though.

I'm not to sure I wish to continue this book, as I'm only on page nineteen, and they've already killed a few animals. As a passionate animal activist, if this keeps on I'm done.

I've put this on hold for now, because I am in a bad way mentally. Stupidly I choose to be in denial. I have been out of treatment for eight months, but I see a new therapist in the middle of November. I will pick this back up soon.

Cont. I shouldn't be reading this, as it's triggering my unresolved issues, and repressed memories. I just need to know what happens to Jodie. Being so young(8), can she be put back together? Or was the abuse so severe that she'll be f**ked for life?

My book, of course, has 263 pages in it. What a poor little baby Jodie is. Her personality is fractured. I can somewhat empathize with her, as I was sexually abused near daily; but not with several abusers, who took turns, while watching, and taking pictures!! That poor little thing; and it's a true memoir!

Of 1094 This poor little eight year old. Although we had different circumstances, she reminds me of myself a bit. Although; I used to hope and pray somebody would find out what was going on, and take me away. But no one ever did.

Once again my version has 1151 pages in it. I came across Cathy Glass just browsing. Even though I'm already reading four others(my general average at any given time), I had to get this book due to my past. I want to read "Damaged" & "Cut" something fierce, but am frightened they may be too triggering for me.

Excellent thus far. I've been flying through this one. To me, it's a great page turner.

I'm diagnosed with BPD(& bipolar 2, & PTSD). Currently I'm addicted to opiates, and I'm trying to get clean. It'll probably go slow at first, until the worst of the physical "dope-sick"

My iBook version has 215 pages. None of my books have the same number of pages in any of the versions to chose from. This is holding my interest, but I wish for it to pick up a bit. So far, it appears like a rival love triangle. No way I'm putting it down though.

My version has 1087 pages. I've got some sadism in me; so I love the original, more "grim" versions. Several of them are actually quite sick, and twisted.
