I took a bit of a break from this book but I’m back in baby!

This book means the world to me, Feyre’s experience with her depression and panic attacks feel so real and so much like my own, the beginning part of this book always wrecks me

Like the rest of the population, I watched the call me daddy podcast and am now back in my acotar phase

WHY CAN’T LUTHER JUST FUCKING COMMUNICATE HIS ISSUES FOR GODS SAKE this is irritating me to no end

I’m really kind of over the whole ‘secrets’ thing, like my god has Luther not learned?? Diem’s whole thing is that she wants honestly and he is STILL keeping things from her?? Like brother really

Oh I am loving this series!!!! Luther could low key get it

Unfortunately Diem is being a bit of a fucking idiot which is making me not like her very much rn

Henri is annoying, I like Diem and Luther seems like a cutie

Mainly listening to this as an audiobook and honestly really enjoying it so far

Okay I don’t really care for the footnotes, I find them a bit distracting

Ugh kind of don’t care about poppy, don’t even really care about their relationship I just love hearing Tyler’s backstory with his sisters death and him wanting to join the church to make it a better place, the conversations around religion are really beautiful (again coming from someone who really isn’t religious)

Look sometimes you just need some diabolical smut to get you out of a reading slump

Also I’m not religious but the way the MMC talks about religion and his faith as a priest is low key beautiful

Ngl this book is kind of losing me... the start was so good and promising, but idk if it was because I I went on a cruise and was reading the book with a mimosa in hand, but I'm really struggling to figure out what is going on... why are they in weird groups fighting??? is it fight class?? idk i think im gonna have to read a plot summary once I finish this book to understand what was actually going on

Okay only a few pages into the book so can’t comment much on the story yet (although I love the setting of the spooky house) but the art in this book so far is incredible! Not sure if it’s in all physical copies (mine copy is from dymocks) but it’s actually gorgeous

First read of the year baby!!! I’ve loved Sophie’s books in the past so hoping this one lives up to my expectations!
