I forgot what page I was on when I stopped, but they were listing a tedious amount of characters. It reminded me of the "begetting" part of the Early Testament, which also bored me and made me put down the Bible.

Once you pass the intro and a few pages into Chapter 1, we start learning about Zeus Meilichious. The "underworld" snake version of Zeus. It feels more like a Lovecraftian discovery, making the text more entertaining. They even include pictures of reliefs of this serpent Zeus.

Really whimsical yet creppy stories in this one.

I stopped reading for about a week because Nic and Alison were being soooooo annoying!! 😤

The description of Warhol annoys me. I feel like I'm in Art History 101.

Chapter 15 and it's almost as if the book is still at its slow beginning. Mary Sue character. Name dropping household artists.

Halfway through this book and still confused but mildly intrigued...why was K. arrested? Why is the court so unprofessional? Why are the women in this book obsessed with K.? Am I getting any smarter by reading this?
