The first 2/3rds of this book were so utterly slow and boring that I started reading this in July 2025 and it killed my vibe so bad that I only now decided to finish it out of sheer stubbornness :’-) that being said, the last handful of chapters did get better(the pacing definitely improved) but the bulk of it was just such a slog to get through that I cannot in good faith give this anything more than two stars

Intriguing and well written enough to keep me reading, but I really wanted this to be as suspenseful and strange as the description made it sound, though to me it was just sort of dreary, wistful, as if an exhausted blink were a book

Yes, I’m a heretic that’s reading the series out of order but damn, episode three did my boys Steve and Bucky *cough cough* I mean Scott and Kip so dirty this was so cute

Finishing this out of spite jfc how can a book this short be so harrowingly boring and pretentious at the same time
