One character trait I would use to describe Marlee is shy. Sally says to new people at school that are trying to meet marly that she doesnt talk, and that they have been friends for a while. pg.16 "Marlee doesnt talk ," said Sally. This is why a character trait of Marlee is shy.

one part I found intresting is when they say Jackie Robinsons dad growing up was a sharecropper, and we learned about them in social studies. Jackie Robinsons dad was a slave but was freed when slavery ended and became a sharecropper which wasnt much better. Pg.2 "His father had been a slave, and although this wasnt slavery. It wasnt far from it. This is why I found this part interesting.

One sad part is when peter's grandfather starts forgetting about his life. Peter's grandfather starts crying at the thanskgiving table because he forgot his wifes name and could only remember her as the girl in the green dress. pg.229 "Grandpa did not say anthing for the shortest amount of time. He broke down and sobbed."Im thankful for the girl in the green dress." this is how his grandfather makes this part sad

My favorite part of the book is when Peter goes to a 12th grade girls party and gets drunk. Peter gets drunk at the popular older girls party with his girlfriend Angelika, and his bestfriend A.J. Pg.183 "A.J., Angelika, and I were all sprawled out on the back porch of A.J.'s house. This is why my favorite part was when Peter got drunk at the party.

One part that was dissapointing was when Peter hurt his arm.
Peter was very disapointed when he hurt his arm trying to throw it as hard as he can, and he realized he didnt get the guy out. To prove this on page 18, peter says "wait I thought I got him" I said. My voice started to tear up. This proves and shows Peter is dissapointed.
