Listening to this as an audiobook is such a fun adventure.

Well my wife and I have started writing a paper about the concepts of white supremacy, toxic masculinity, and horrible heteronormative representations that the entire saga, but specially this book, of Edward’s perspective, perpetuates.
So that’s how it’s going.

So freaking good…except for the damn romance that just blew up on the pages for no good reason. Why do YA books have to be so epic and then have the most redundant, lame, overly dramatic romances? Stop ruining my time reading your books with your shitty attempts at seduction and sex. I can tell you don’t have much of your own experiences to go on. You can just leave it out, you know.

Magical, wonderful, innocent, and important.
