This is the most brutally honest narration I’ve ever read. It’s raw, unapologetic, and filled with explicit details that both horrify and move you—stirring a storm of emotions all at once.

I want to take this slowly and absorb it bit by bit. I must say it's really enjoyable reading from the Victorian Era.

Just finished chapter one—my fingers are sore from all the note taking (don’t be fooled, I enjoyed it.)

This is so much fun to read that I don’t feel bad for neglecting all the serious reading I have to do.

its quite difficult to grasp the flow of the text, its written in a way I'm not used to see in Rooney's works. just reached chapter two, but I think I'm gonna like and get used to the writing style if I keep going. (hopefully)
