Assigned reading by my department chair ahead of starting residency! He says “this book is a quick but important read. Our reputation is excellent care and kindness.” Looking forward to seeing what it says while acknowledging this book is from 2002 haha

This was so cute!!!! Very sweet to see the relationship and friendships/found family developed slowly through the book. There were also (1) descriptions of her drawing process as a children’s book illustrator and (2) a character who used sign language, both of which I don’t see in books too often and I really appreciated!!

Ross got me Book of the Month for Christmas 🥰 this is December’s book!!

Slowly trucking through this big boi. So good so far. Got really good in last 100 pages especially and it’s giving Harry Potter vibes now
