I have so many theories on what the heck is happening in this book. I really hope this isn’t a story that leaves me more confused…

This book is about a man (I think lol) who lives in a huge house/labyrinth. He has no memory of how he got there and he speaks about the world and the house interchangeably so he doesn’t know if there is anything in existence outside of the house. Not sure where this is going…

So far this book is a clear allegory of salvation and sanctification— showing the widely experienced “post-salvation high” followed by (at least for me) an immediate regression to our former selves… acting like we still dead in our trespasses🙄🙄🙄

Re-reading this because I claim this as one of my favorite books but have a hard time remembering specific details… We can’t have that.

So many characters in this book so far. It’s confusing but interesting— I’m preparing myself for a love triangle (feels inevitable but I’m dreading it— why can’t we just be simple?😪).

I’m surprised by how much I’m enjoying the futuristic world this story is set in.
