Finally the rubber hits the road.

This book is giving me nightmares.

Wow is this is disturbing.

By page 100 I'm finally warming up to the story a bit but I'll never finish in time for book club on Saturday.

I'll confess I was put off at first. Not sure what bugged me exactly — something about the tone, or maybe just my own internal grumpiness. But that shifted as I read more and at this point I'm completely engrossed.

Chapter 7 flips the switch from comedy to action. Ugh.
