The writing is beautifully done, and I love the sensory diction that is used within the book, such as when she's describing her food or her cooking, it makes you feel like you are a part of the book yourself. I found myself able to connect and relate with the characters in the book, especially Emoni, even though I have never gone through a similar experience as her.
