have i read too many books, or have they just became so predictable now-a-days?
all the reveals feels so predictable, ravlyn is supposed to be a mysterious person using secrets and lies to deceive the people he does not want close to his heart but it has just gotten to the point where everything revealed about him was just so conspicuous. the world building feels lacking - i just wished the "mist" was explained more

the plot takes a while to develop, but the dialogue progresses the wordbuilding.

maybe I'm just toxic but I genuinely thought the author was going to give us a slow burn. their relationship is going too fast for my liking honestly, especially because they were calling his Dr. death in the first chapter...

genuinely not liking how his anxiety is selective, like bro can handle talking to patient normally but when it comes to coworkers his stuck fkr words??? lowkey pisses me off

everytime the pov switches to tiffy i sigh. her life, work and social life seems so boring and dull. her friends are the absolute worse and her personality is not every note-worthy. i genuinely am not enjoying tiffy's character why, is she so caught up on a guy that she doesnt even like. leon's life is actually a little more interesting

i feel like i enjoyed if we were villains more than this, why are the chapters so long, why are the characters so unlikeable :(

ali hazelwood will continue to make me uncomfortable with her descriptions of men :(

its literally a good book that follows the tinkerbell timeline, which i love! but i find clarion's characterisation dull, naïve and impetuous. i honestly understand that the book is supposed to show her youth but she just doesnt seem like the clarion i used to admire :(

picking this book up again (despite it being over a year since i last read it) whoops

the more i read the more disgusted i am from their political views and other conversations. the dialogue is PAINFUL, i really dont find it witty/funny.

i feel like alex is such a know-it-all and his purpose in this book is to be like "see i told u so" whereas herny is so stiff. i dont like their personalities at all (feels so one-dimensional)

basen and lishu subplot is to die for. they are so wholesome

slow read. i hate the fact that Ai is mentioned/fictionally used because that could mean that AI was used non-fictionally.

i think its an ethical problem for someone who knows so little about men to write advice for their personal lives!! also an ethical issue to use Ai to answer personal questions. her responses are not very alpha male sigma(aka they sound like they were written by Ai)
