This is super interesting so far. I’m glad I just got up to the part where they discuss how and when the Ronettes hit the scene. They’re my favorite 60s girl group!

I recently watched the movie Breaking Glass for the first time in a long time, and I knew I had a book by its lead actress, Hazel O’Connor, somewhere…well, I found it, so that’s my current read. It’s a short book, I expect to finish it quickly!

There was a sex scene in this book that went on for several pages, and honestly I skipped over most of it. (Sorry to people who like sex scenes in books, but I’m just not into reading all that.)

This book feels like it’s a million pages long. I don’t dislike it or anything, but it’s also not really holding my interest. I’m tempted to DNF but I also want to know how it turns out. Even if I can predict what’s probably going to happen…

The book I started today is a tribute to 1930s screwball comedies and I am HERE for that!!! However, in my head I’m imagining the two leads as being played by Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis back when they were in Moonlighting together. That show was inspired by screwball comedies too, so it tracks that I’d make that association in my mind while reading.

Only a few chapters in, but it’s cute so far.
