I don’t know when I actually started this; it had a bookmark in it from before but I left off right after the first arc in the book. I’m just saying I started today.

This covers two of my favorite topics (Jewish history and Hollywood/movie history) so I really hope it’s good!

I finished the first story, which is Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s interesting to me because the movie adaptation is both very different and very similar in its own way. Like, some of the movie’s dialogue comes from the novella almost verbatim, but they took extreme liberties with some elements of the plot. (The book, for example, is not a love story between Holly and “Fred” like the movie.)

I liked the part when Raoul came to visit. (I’ll be a Raoul defender forever, I don’t even care.)

What was up with that spicy dream sequence? I thought this was supposed to be a YA book…?

I spotted this on the library app so I borrowed the Kindle version from there. I don’t have high expectations, but it’s Phantom so I probably will like some of it.

I just saw that my library’s app has that YA Phantom of the Opera book that just came out. I’ve heard it’s bad but I have to admit that I’m curious…I mean, I’m not paying for it and I’m supporting my library so I’ll take a chance on it, lol

I’m waiting on some library holds to come in so I decided to read a graphic novel that’s been sitting on the shelf for months. For someone who claims to love comics I really don’t read them enough!

I really wish this book didn’t have Robert Slatzer quotes in it.
