I didn’t really enjoy the Dorian-Sorcha plot this time tbh. Their relationship felt forced to me. However the last scene where Dorian gets the collar is so good!!!! And other scenes, like the ‘get up’ scene! I originally gave this book 5 stars, but I’m changing it to 4 stars

i’ve seen the movie. i was expecting more from the book like more details? however apparently it’s just a short story. i still like the story tho!

woah! this is sad and painful. i loved this book, but i didn’t understand the last sentence: “my god! a whole minute of bliss! is that really so little for the whole of a man's life?” i read other translations from the russian sentence into english and some are different and they look as if they mean different things. I think i’ll find out soon though !

im not sure yet what to rate this book? i started off very disappointed because i prefer thrillers/horrors set in the 70s. i think the whole happy bunny thing sucked. it did play a part in getting Rachel / the reader scared and it adds some kind of discomfort etc. a lot of things are left unexplained. i liked the ending. i liked the fact that there was an old attic with cobwebs. i liked that in the end it was Ellie
