Every flaw in this book can be excused with “that’s the point.”
This is a compelling story (well the Navidson record at least, so like 50%). Truant’s footnotes used to be fascinating and now are just misogynistic rants with small elements of thriller. Despite new female characters being introduced every page they’re incredibly poorly written. How far can “well that’s the point” take this book?
