Y'know. This one might have been able to stay on the shelf. What's fun about Virginia Woolf's writing is that she doesn't brag about all its affordances... Morton (it is most certainly them, not Boyer, speaking here) has been known to be a kind of smarmy, gratuitous, self-congratulatory author, but this kind of exceeds anything else I've read by a wide margin.
Interesting concepts within, sad this is their deployment
