ooh, Nicki, Nicki, Nicki, I love you so much

I'll admit, this was a bit of a struggle for me at first. It took a few chapters to get used to the writing style, but now I'm having fun. This reads just like an episode of HTLJ.

Not sure I'm a fan of the writing, but I'm intrigued.

I am persevering through this nonsense out of pure love for Duo, but oh boy do I hate the original characters made for this book so far. they're all so incredibly insufferable, especially Jake.

I don't know why I do this to myself lol GW novelizations of any kind are genuinely so frustrating

(I do know why I'm doing it this time, and that's for Duo, BUT STILL.)

oh, mia ballard is gunning for my daddy issues, okay.

I actually don't care enough about this book to finish it, so into the DNF pile it goes.

I fear this book may not be living up to my expectations.
