Loved Chapter 14, Norbert the Norwegian Ridgeback! Such a shame it wasn’t in the movie. J.K. Rowling made the dragon details so fun, and I couldn’t stop laughing at Ron getting annoyed with Hagrid being such a mom to Norbert. Also loved how Harry, Ron, and Hermione still went out of their way to help Hagrid by arranging to send Norbert to Charlie. Their friendship is everything.

Going into chapter 10 now and the plot is finally getting more interesting. I always love it when characters start getting inspired to change things or solve problems. It was honestly understandable why Akio called their relationship off, even though it hurt. But now I’m excited to see Eriku enter the story and maybe help heal this heartbroken princess.

The way Chapter 28 flows into 29 had me gasping, I’m still processing that Layla actually died. She’s been gone for so long, but Salama created a different reality around that truth.

I found it cute! Jiyoung’s first boyfriend in university explained the sports before the game but not during it. He compared it to not needing to explain every line during a movie. He thought it was uncool or a bit self-important for guys to keep explaining things to their girlfriends during the game.

The book’s accuracy is incredible! The family was eating ramen when the brother took more, Eunyoung (the older sister) took some back for their mom, who then returned it to their son. Eunyoung suggested cooking in individual pots next time, prompting the mom to ask if she’d wash all the dishes. Eunyoung explained the chores the girls do, except for their younger brother, as their dad is working.
