so excited to reread this one, life changing stuff for me 🫶 my fave of the series!

this was such a delight! perfectly sized memoir with lots of wit and self-confidence and emotion. i waited on hold for six months for this from the library and it was worth the wait!

absolutely love it! memoirs are hit or miss for me, and this is so fun! kelly’s ability to effortlessly stand up for herself and chase her dreams as a woman in the 1960s/70s is the inspiration i need!

every scene is a near death experience and i’m not sure if i can listen to 5 more hours tbd

not super invested yet but this always happens to me during the childhood part of memoirs

life is so good

done and on to the best book of my damn life

fuck it i’m going in for my fifth(?) reread of this series

i was terrified that this was gonna be super cringy but i like ali hazelwood’s contemporary books so tg this is actually really normal. unfortunately it is also kinda boring so far

really loving how confidently and casually she embraces challenges at the store without being qualified half the time to know the answer. she’s such a self starter and i’m already feeling so inspired halfway through!

i was really captivated at first but i’m at the point in the book where i’m feeling slightly bored and bitter that i didn’t get to camp in europe in 1972 for four months at $5 a day

i loved the movie adaptation already, but wow this is so well written
