Love Mrs Adams and her detective. Yes, she cannot save people someone is determined to kill. BUT, she does an amazing job solving the murder. She uses logic and skill. The detective is very impressed, but he seems how intelligent she is and is, a bit, jealous. His being sweet on her, and her ignoring his comments, is amusing and sweet. Wish the author had written more book with Miss Adams aka Mrs Pinkerton!
