Anyway, I really want to take my time with this one since it feels really personal to me. I’m from a tiny town in central Illinois that oddly had a decent enough live music scene. It doesn’t hurt that music and art as resistance is my number one jam.
So far I’m really enjoying it!

I managed to get a copy with readable print and I still find it hard to get through. I may try to get the audiobook read by my best girl, Rosamund Pike. Fair disclosure: I did watch the show before starting this.. we'll see if the bad reviews of the show are justified.

Ugh.. So, I've bought and sold this book at least twice before resorting to my first ever audiobook...
and OMG DOES IT EVER ENDDDDD. I still have 20+ hours left..
and I totally get why people say it's wish fulfillment. Seriously the mc has no faults whatsoever and is just so smart and so perfect. Puke. I wish I hadn't wasted an audible credit on this. Shall see if I finish
