Carol Panas is reading Fanny Hill. Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure
I started this book a while ago, and then the device I was reading it on got zapped and trashed. Now i've been looking for it in paperback format, but It's been a while and I'm having no success. Guess we'll load it onto the kobo and read it there !

I don't know if I have the temperance to continue reading this book? I just finished book 1, and I seriously need a break. The story keeps getting lost in this over descriptive explanations that rattle on and on. I don't know if I will ever have the patience to pick this book up again, but for now, I am just going to put it aside, and pick up something else that isn't so droll. Sorry fans.

It's different when the author seems to take up a page or two to describe a character. Sometimes a few pages more. But when you get into it, it's a wonderful story!

Am Loving this book! OK I know I'm only on page 16, but PEOPLE! This is a PHILIPPA GREGORY BOOK! And she knows her UK history:)
I have read a number of her other books (about the Bolyn girls), and know what was happening with Mary of Scotts already in the book. Plus, all the double crossing and sneaky back stabbing of the royal court is right in there right in the beginning. FABULOUS BOOK!

Carol Panas is finished with Articles on Novels By George R. R. Martin
Am stuck on " A Dance With Dragons". Tried to cheat and skim thru it , but then my Daughter was asking me questions, and she informed me of some vital stuff that i later reflected i have to read ! Am just going to take a break, and return in a week or two. I feel like the first 5 books were so exciting, that i was unhappy about all these new charaters and change of events. silly me.
