Is my slump… over??? It actually takes effort to put this book down and doesn’t take any effort to pick it up, so that’s a good sign

Wait what- im perplexed this is what reading in 3rd person gets you… you never truly get into anyone’s head so it’s like peak unreliable narrator

Got carried away and read double my allotted pages

Mel discusses the concept of let me "go first" in terms of putting yourself out there first to make connections in these past few pages, and bro it hit me like I have actually been doing that on my mental health walks in my neighborhood these past few days which is so cool. I've been petting peoples dogs, saying good morning, getting peoples names, etc, and who would have known my neighbors were such sweethearts
