The main problem of the story is that Zeke died, however, nobody knows who killed him. The turning point will probably be when Delilah finally remembers or does something to remember.

An event in the rising action in the book which is making it more complicated is how Delilah has to go to trial so then everybody can find out how Zeke has died, but Delilah has no memory of what happened, so he has to find his memory to answer the question of who killed Zeke.

The thing I like about this book is how multiple stories end up coming together in a way you probably wouldn't expect.

The narrator of Vertical Word: The Veils of Cthonia is reliable because they tell the story for what it is and not visibly lying.

Vertical World is in 3rd person limited and I know this because there is nothing referring to the reader or anything referring to themselves other than in dialogue. You only really get to know anything from one character too, so that makes it limited. This is shown in the book on page 135, when, "Estrella faced the tent, and Aral stood between the two." There are only 2 people there and there is no "I" or "you."

Vertical World is in 3rd person limited and I know this because it does not specify anything to the reader and it doesn't use "I" in other parts other than dialogue. Also, there are only thoughts of the main character, Aral.

Not a really good book. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I think Wringer is pretty generic so far.
