It is hard to find sentence fragments but there are some simple sentences and one of them is "The track was muddier then it looked"

There was some conflict of character v character and that is when the main character gets mad at the tour guy because he is spying on him.

There is some conflict in the book where I am at and it is when Robert Langdon and the other guy start getting frustrated with each other because they think they are both right when they have different opinions. This type of conflict is Character Vs. Character.

In the book they are now switching perspectives if that make sense and they are now talking about a religious cult, This is my second book and the other book I have read was snatched

On the part I read and just before that it uses great imagery like talking about someone running their hand with a meaty hand

I think that it is good right now and there is not much happening. i see some independent sentence then dependent sentence

This talks about how the Main character just meets the captain of a pyramid.

We see the main character in chapter 1 and 2 cringe because of the way people mention him and it seems that he is lying about who he is because he doesn't like the way people and magazines talk about him. This motif would be Identity

A motif that I found while reading this book is more suffering/pain and its while in the prologue the narrators wife dies and he is all alone

A new motif that I saw instead of suffering/pain was identity> I saw identity when we find out Alicia is not really rich but it is just her step father who is rich and they just live off of his money

A motif I found in this book was Suffering/Pain because Alicia who was the girl that got kidnapped was stuck in a boat and in her diary she was saying she was mad and she hates her boyfriend or step dad.

Something that keeps coming up is how the book is going through the point of views of different characters. This pattern of going through the povs of characters is important because it shows what other characters are thinking and doesn't show just one main character.

I noticed that the author for this book was using different chapters for the point of views of different characters like how on the chapter titled lost and found, the author goes into Alicia's pov

I think that it was a good idea to add the bloodwater curse which is that bad things happen to the people that live in the bloodwater house.

The book is talking about how there are multiple people trying to find the person who kidnapped Alicia but they are not talking about suspects in the town except the main characters
