Krabat is watching the master of tHE mill drive the carriage to Berksman- a town. He is working as a slave at a mill. The m,ill is actually a dark magic school that produces grain for the villiage as a cover story. He can not escape the mill.

1. My prediction was right!!!! The living goddess will die!
2. Cat was held captive when he could have easily escaped without breaking a sweat. I don't get why Cat didn't just blow up the temple like he said he could.

I really like this book because of how different it is compared to other books. I don't know why they had to name the book bridge to Terabthia if Terabethia isn't even a big part of the story.

The storyline also doesn't line up because, Chrestomanci said that all enchanters have nine lives to start with. It doesn't make sense how cats father said that that is super powerful and that he is an enchanter, but never had nine lives. I think this make the ruleset not work.

My thought was that cat should have known about him being a nine lived enchanter. He "died" 3 times when he was a kid and everyone told him e was an enchanter. So I think he should have remembered.

Chrestomanci is acually a goverment title!

The family is out at church and they are walking around the castle trying to get in the Chrestomanci's magical garden.

I wonder why Cat would want to get dragons blood if he can't cast spells.
