God this book is just. Sooo. Long.

I really wish this was the first thing I'd ever read from or about Plath. Really loving it so far.

I just realized that this is an anthology of short stories. It makes much more sense now! 😬

Not the best writing but enjoyable so far.

This book suddenly turned into non fiction. Fascinating info - but a little weird.

Interesting read. It requires attention because it's not an easy read. Once I realized that I've been enjoying it. It seems to mash together a bunch of concepts I learned about in my Lit degree - so that's kind of fun too. I am surprised I didn't come across it in college

Dear lord this book is boring. For some reason I am forcing myself to finish it.

I have to return this book and I'm a bit more than halfway through. Longest book ever!

I am not enjoying this. I am thinking about giving it up. 29 more hours left. Ugh.

Hm. Not loving this and wondering why it won the Newbery.
