Guys this book’s premise is low key crazy
Like she was kidnapped?!? Crazy
But it did make me lock in
I think I got annoyed at the third act break up

I love this book
Second chance has a good way of hooking me and breaking my heart
From the first page I was immersed and I love the couple

This book was something else
Very dark in my opinion
I think the characters suit each other but I don’t think I could be with this man
It was crazy
Kinda scared for the next books lol

After hearing about it for so long I finally read it
Very different from what I expected but I liked it a lot
I’m excited to read the rest of the series and hope the author eventually continues the series
I feel like it didn’t have much of a plot tho so very good for beginners looking to read Mafia
I really liked the conversations surrounding fidelity like it was low key heartbreaking

I really liked this book
But it felt like a novella
Still I had a good time

But this book didn’t hit as hard as the others
Still very cute but it wasn’t as Christmasy and it felt very different
I didn’t like how slow burn this book was when by having the dual pov we could tell how much they both liked each other
Idk I wasn’t as immersed in this book

As someone who has read almost all of Kasie West’s backlog, this one wasn’t my favourite
It had some good moments and a lot of dirty dancing vibes but make it singing
Though I think I find singers in books a bit cringe….so that was hard to get past

This is such a good Christmas novella
5 stars for me
I loved Ethan and Maggie
They were very cute

Ok this had all the right elements for me
Unhinged mmc who is obsessed with a struggling fmc
Hockey romance and a funny friend group
It was great
I’m just not the biggest age gap fan I guess
But they were still very cute just not my fav I guess

Walker was a red flag but thats my favourite color
It was a bit slower at the start than the rest of her books which is saying something cause it always takes a while
Olivia’s story really made me want to cry so I’m happy walker saved her😍😍

Ok I feel like it’s my first dark rom com
I think this is a great dark stalker romance for beginners
I’m also not used to the women knowing the guy is a stalker but it was funny so 🤷‍♀️
I think I wasn’t as into the second half of the book which is weird because that’s when all the plot happens
Josh and Ally are cute tho and for sure soulmates so

I liked the plot tho and I’m excited about the other couples
Lyra and Thatcher specifically
I just hope they’re less slow burn or that they speak to each other more lol

Um I’m so glad he didn’t actually kill her pet
My only real complaint was that the book was a tad slow
It took a while for the leads to even have a conversation
And I felt like the only real romance starts happening 60% into it
Plus they kept talking about having a connection but they hadn’t spoken to each other
It was just a lot of telling instead of showing

I think this one is easier to read than Jane Eyre
Plus it’s more lighthearted
Her romantic interest is slightly better but that’s not the highest praise because Rochester had locked a women up
The ending was very unexpected tho
Like what an open ended bittersweet ending

Also the book had chapters that were just info dumping which I find strange because it could have been integrated in the fictional storylines much better - and it did do that some times so I found it useless to give us pure informational chapters
Yeah I wanted to DNF
Even the fictional story started not being enjoyable

Oof I’m glad it’s over
This was low key disappointing since I started it off liking it
But the more I kept reading the angrier I got for no reason than I just wanted it to end
It’s a school book obvi
I think an economist would like this book but as someone who knows nothing about it I felt very stupid the majority of the book

This was a school read but I’m pleasantly surprised
I low key love Dickens - he’s very funny and low key easy to read
It’s a big book so it gets a bit long and a tad boring
But dickens great at getting you to connect with characters and by the end I was getting a tad sentimental
He’s also great at the multiplot- low key mastermind my man
Love Agnes, and Traddles

This was for school
But it wasn’t that bad
The class is about climate change but I was more invested in the familial relationships

I can’t believe they revealed the fact that they’re mates
Low key giving Rhys and chapter 55 in acomaf
Ren is giving cassian - I’m seeing the inspiration
I really hope everlyne ends up with ren in the near future and lives
I feel like too much is happening- too many plots- so many things that need to be fixed and it’s too close to the end!

Prediction: I think Madra is controlling her guards in some way

I’m intrigued and I hope she’s able to see her brother again because they ended on a sad note there😭😩

I thought that billy and Daisy would have had more of a romantic relationship than they did which I’m not mad about
I don’t ship those two at all
They are both fire and they would have burned each other both alive so I’m glad they kept it platonic
I low key liked this book more than Malibu Raising

This book low key got me out of a book slump
I think more books should just be dialogue low key
It was very different from what I had thought this book would be- same with the characters
I low key liked Billy more than I thought I would
Taylor Jenkins Reid is so good at truly conniving me that people exist and are famous

Also I just did not like how Alice kept pushing to kiss Charlie even after he wanted to stay just friends
Like I get it progressed their relationship and I’m happy it did but it did not feel natural
But those are my own gripes with the book
